Dayna Spiring (LINKEDIN)
A new boss is at the helm of Economic Development Winnipeg Inc.
The organization has appointed Dayna Spiring as its new president and CEO.
Spiring most recently served as the chief strategy officer and general counsel of the Canadian Wheat Board.
Spiring will be responsible for heading up the corporation’s efforts to promote Winnipeg to the world through the parent organization, its YES! Winnipeg initiative and its Tourism Winnipeg division.
“Winnipeg is an unrivaled place to live, work, play and invest, and I couldn’t be more proud to assume the mantle of president and CEO of the city’s premier economic development agency,” she said.
Spiring’s first day on the job is March 14.
