Travellers wanting to fly directly to and from Winnipeg to Halifax will be able to do so on WestJet this summer.
The Calgary-based airline has announced non-stop seasonal service between the two cities beginning July 1.
“We are introducing these routes on a seasonal basis to allow WestJet the opportunity to test the market while providing our guests more choice and convenience along with our low-fare, high-care service,” said Lee Lipton, WestJet director of network and schedule planning.
Flights will be operated on WestJet’s Boeing 737 aircraft and travel four times weekly until September 6, 2016.
Total one-way fares with taxes and fees included will be $264.64.
WestJet also announced direct flights between Halifax and Vancouver.
