Man Robbed at Gunpoint at Winnipeg Bus Stop

Winnipeg Police CrestA 28-year-old man waiting for a Winnipeg Transit bus was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night.

Police say it happened at around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Cathedral Avenue and Main Street when the victim was approached by an unknown man. The man grabbed the victim’s sweater and pulled out a handgun, demanding his property. A bus pass and an undisclosed amount of cash was handed over before the suspect fled on foot.

He is described as approximately 5’11” tall, wearing a black hoodie, with a red bandana covering his face, black coloured pants and black gloves.
