Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Downtown Winnipeg

One person was rushed to hospital on Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Winnipeg.

It happened just before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection Donald Street and Ellice Avenue.

Bloody clothes could be seen on the roadway and a pickup truck and SUV were stopped nearby.

Police had Ellice closed from Smith Street to Hargrave Street while they investigated.

The condition of the victim isn’t known at this time.

All roadways have since reopened.
