Manitoba’s Tories say they would improve wait times for those seeking emergency medial care.

If elected on April 19, leader Brian Pallister says his government would develop a task force of front-line health care experts. The team would recommend specific actions to shorten wait times in emergency rooms and for other priority procedures and treatments.

“When Manitobans need help, they should not be waiting longer than everywhere else in Canada to receive care,” Pallister said. “This is not acceptable.”

Pallister said under the governing NDP, Manitoba leads the country in ER wait times.
