Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is probing an officer-involved incident in Brandon.
The IIU says they were contacted by police regarding an incident occurred the afternoon of March 16. Police were responding to a domestic dispute, where the affected person alleged they were assaulted by the officer. No medial treatment was required.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released.
Brandon police didn’t provide a statement regarding the incident.
