Woman Forced into Vehicle, Sexually Assaulted

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police say a 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted after being forced into a vehicle on March 14.

The victim was walking in the area of Main Street and Jarvis Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. when an unknown vehicle pulled up next to her. A person exited the vehicle and grabbed onto the victim by her waist.

She was forced into the backseat of the vehicle and assaulted multiple times in the upper body. A second suspect drove while the victim was restrained, sexually assaulted and threatening.

She was eventually able to break free and flee the vehicle.

One of the suspects is only described as a Caucasian man.
