All civic offices will be closed on Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28. Here’s what else is open, closed or operating on a reduced schedule for the Easter long weekend.
Shopping Centres
Kildonan Place Shopping Centre
Friday, March 25 — Closed
Saturday, March 26 — 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, March 27 — Closed
Monday, March 28 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
St. Vital Shopping Centre
Friday, March 25 — Closed
Saturday, March 26 — 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, March 27 — Closed
Monday, March 28 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Cadillac Fairview Polo Park
Friday, March 25 — Closed
Saturday, March 26 — 9:30 a.m. 6 p.m.
Sunday, March 27 — Closed
Monday, March 28 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Forks
Open Friday to Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Liquor Marts
Beginning today, all Liquor Marts will operate on extended hours.
On March 25, all Liquor Mart locations in Manitoba will be closed for Good Friday.
Extended hours will resume on March 26. On March 27, all Liquor Mart locations in Manitoba will be closed for Easter Sunday.
Regular hours will resume at all Manitoba Liquor Marts on Monday, March 28.
Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries offices will be closed Friday, March 25, to Monday, March 28, inclusive.
Recycling/Garbage Collection
Recycling and garbage will be collected as normally scheduled on the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays for those with Friday and Monday as their collection day.
Brady Road Landfill
Friday, March 25 — 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, March 26 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 27 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, March 28 — 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winnipeg Transit
On Friday, March 25 (Good Friday), Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. On Monday, March 28 (Easter Monday), Winnipeg Transit will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
Leisure Centres
All Leisure Centres are closed on Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28. Regular hours of operation are in effect for Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27.
Swimming Pools
All City of Winnipeg swimming pools will be closed on Friday, March 25, except the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, which will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Regular hours of operation are in effect for all pools on Saturday, March 26.
Pools will be open on Sunday, March 27 as scheduled – but will close at 4:00 p.m.
All pools are closed on Monday, March 28, except the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, which will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Pan Am Pool, which will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Libraries
Friday, March 25 — Closed
Saturday March 26 — Regular operating hours
Sunday, March 27 — Closed
Monday, March 28 — Millennium, Charleswood, Henderson, Louis Riel, Pembina Trail, West End and West Kildonan Libraries open 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All other libraries closed.
Animal Services Agency
Friday, March 25 — Closed
Saturday, March 26 — Noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 27 — Noon to 5 p.m.
Monday, March 28 — Closed
Cemeteries
Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries will be open for visitation from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. over the Easter weekend, including Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28.
Cemetery offices will be closed on Friday, March 25 (Good Friday) and Monday, March 28 (Easter Monday).
