The Winnipeg Art Gallery’s popular Olympus exhibit has been held over once again.
“Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin” was scheduled to end April 3, but has been extended for two more weeks until April 17.
“Olympus is having a significant impact in our community,” said Stephen Borys, project manager and WAG director and CEO.
“The sold-out school tours bring history to life for students and teachers. And for so many of our visitors, coming face-to-face with works created over 2,000 years ago is a transformative experience.
A final weekend of festivities is planned April 15-17, with a happy hour, cash bar and elegant dancers to celebrate the departure of Olympus. Tickets are available at the WAG or online.
