Man Charged in Robberies of Fort Richmond Business

Winnipeg Police CrestA 19-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged after police say he robbed the same Fort Richmond business three times.

The latest robbery occurred Monday afternoon in the 200 block of Dalhousie Drive. Police say they received a report of an armed robbery at around 1:45 p.m. and later found the suspect in a nearby home.

Police say the suspect was possibly armed with a knife during the robbery and fled the business. No one was injured.

The suspect has also been linked to robberies at the same business on March 22 and 24.

Michael Ryan Harper has been charged with three counts of robbery, three counts of wearing a disguise and three counts of possessing a weapon.

He remains in custody.
