Both the man who was stabbed and his assailant have been arrested and charged after a senior was stabbed in a drive-thru line March 30.
While Winnipeg police didn’t say what started the fight, they did say it happened between two cars waiting in line at Tim Horton’s on Lagimodiere Boulevard and Headmaster Row. The senior, 65, got out of his car and confronted the driver in front of him.
Police said the senior assaulted the man, who then got out of the vehicle and they had a fight. The senior suffered an apparent stab wound, said police, and was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old man from East St. Paul, Man. is facing a charge of Assault with a Weapon.
The 65-year-old senior is facing a charge of assault.
Both have been released on a promise to appear.
