A call for an apparent fire led to the discovery of a marijuana grow-op on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to the 400 block of Boyd Avenue at around 4 a.m. for the report of a working fire, but discovered a marijuana grow operation instead.
Police seized 165 marijuana plants worth an estimated $184,800, eight pounds of dry marijuana worth $20,000, and grow-op equipment worth $7,320.
A 43-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Winnipeg, face drug-related charges.
