CentrePort Canada Inc. has appointed Chris Lorenc as chair and David Filmon as vice-chair of the corporation’s board of directors.
Lorenc is the president of the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association, and has also chaired the mayor’s task force on trade (2007) that recommended building an inland port. Lorenc has been a director since the beginning, most recently as vice-chair and head of the
Governance and Nominations Committee.
Filmon, nominated to the board by the City of Winnipeg, is a partner at Aikins Law, practicing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law, and is actively involved in a number of business, community and charitable organizations.
