Future Manitoba Bisons athletes will get their shot at trying out for the women’s basketball squad April 27-28.
The Bisons are hosting an open 2016 Athlete Identification Camp for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
The purpose of the camp is to gather athletes that have expressed interest in trying out for the team for the upcoming 2016-17 season. Bison third year women’s basketball head coach Michele Hynes is also inviting any athletes that are currently in Grade 10 or 11 that have an interest in playing Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) basketball in the future.
The tryouts will run from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Investors Group Athletic Centre on the U of M’s Fort Garry campus.
A minimal $20 registration fee applies.
