The driver of a vehicle that struck two cyclists on Wednesday will not face any charges.
Winnipeg police responded to the area of Keewatin Street and Notre Dame Avenue at around 9:15 p.m. and found two men with serious injuries. They were taken to hospital — one in stable condition and the other in critical condition.
Police say the men were “riding double” on a bicycle and were attempting to cross Notre Dame against a light when the northbound vehicle hit them.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact them at (204) 986-6271 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
