Accused mail bomber Guido Amsel has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.
Amsel faces new charges in relation to a December 13, 2013 bombing outside of his ex-wife’s home in the RM of St. Clements.
The explosion damaged the home and a vehicle, but did not wake up anyone in the house, said Staff Sgt. Jared Hall. No one noticed the damage until later that morning.
Amsel is currently awaiting a bail review on other charges stemming from bombings at three Winnipeg businesses last summer. One of those bombings seriously injured lawyer Maria Mitousis at the law firm of Petersen King last July.
