Advance polls in Manitoba’s provincial election will open to voters on Saturday.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Eligible voters can vote at any advance voting location. To be eligible to vote they must:
• be Canadian citizens;
• be at least 18 years of age on or before election day; and
• have resided in Manitoba for at least six months immediately before election day.
Voters are required to show one piece of government-issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license) or two other documents with their name. Having their enumeration record with them will also be helpful.
Advance polls will remain open until Saturday, April 16. The election is April 19.
