Two West End neighbourhoods will have their power cut for short periods of time on Sunday, April 10.
Manitoba Hydro says the first outage will affect customers from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in an area from Furby Street west to Home Street and from properties on the north side of the Assiniboine River to Broadway. About 1,110 customers will be affected.
The second outage will be between 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in an area from Maryland Street west to Simcoe Street and from Portage Avenue north to St. Matthews Avenue. About 435 customers will be affected by the outage.
Hydro says the outages are to safely upgrade equipment.
