A ninja turtle will take a break from the depths of the sewer to speak with students at a Winnipeg school today.

Kenn Scott, star of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze,” is in the city for this weekend’s Winnipeg Pop Culture Expo.

Scott, an actor, writer and director, will chat as part of Central Canada Comic Con’s (C4) education initiative, “The C4 Fan Federation.”

Students at Archwood School will be treated to the C4 visit, which aims to connect Manitoba youth with potential careers in comic books, film, television, art and many artistic areas.

Scott will join Phil Guerrero (PJ Fresh Phil) as well as local artists, vendors, and collectors in a celebration of the 1990s and pop culture at the RBC Convention Centre Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster for $10.
