Beer was on tap Saturday during an announcement by Manitoba’s NDP.
Seine River NDP candidate Lise Pinkos announced the party would roll out an alcohol delivery service to socials through Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries for large purchases.
Pinkos also said the most popular Liquor Marts locations would have extended hours.
The NDP also promised to open a brewmaster program at Red River College, and upgrade to the Food Development Centre to support brewing and distilling.
Pinkos added Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries and Travel Manitoba would host an annual craft beer competition, meant to further promote the homegrown craft beer industry.
The provincial election is April 19.
