A 35-year-old man was killed early Sunday after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a fence and a large tree.
It happened in the 1100 block of Wall Street at around 5:20 a.m.
Winnipeg police say the Ford 500 was travelling at a high rate of speed northbound on Wall Street near Sargent Avenue when the driver lost control.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 30-year-old woman and 25-year-old woman received serious injuries.
