Curbside yard waste collection begins city-wide in Winnipeg today.
Homes in collection area “A” will see their yard waste picked up this week, while those in area “B” will have their yard waste collection beginning Monday, April 25.
Residents can also drop off yard waste for free at the new Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot, located at 1901 Brady Road.
The city reminds residents to put their yard waste in any reusable container without a lid (e.g., plastic tubs, old blue boxes, old metal or plastic garbage containers) — containers should not be broken or damaged. Also acceptable is cardboard boxes, and paper yard waste bags.
