Winnipeg police have charged four people for allegedly being behind multiple marijuana grow-ops in the city.
Police executed search warrants at three residences on April 19.
200 block of Smart Street — 382 marijuana plants were seized with estimated street value of $427,840, 15 pounds of harvested marihuana estimated at more than $38,250, and $11,000 worth of grow operation equipment.
600 block of Redwood Avenue — 136 marijuana plants were seized with estimated street value of $152,320 and $9,290 worth of grow operation equipment.
800 block of Pritchard Avenue — Police didn’t find an active grow-op, but say evidence of what having existed in the past was found.
Trieu Tri Tranvo, 19, Van Son Tran, 64, Thi Lieu Vo, 53, and Trieu Thuan Tranvo, 22, were arrested and face several drug-related charges.
All four remain in custody.
