Two men are facing manslaughter charges after a 26-year-old man was killed in St. Theresa Point, Manitoba.
RCMP were called for a report of an unconscious man on Thursday, where they learned the victim had been involved in an altercation with two others in the early morning hours at a party.
He was flown to Winnipeg where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
Morgan Wood, 27, and John Jacob Harper, 28, are charged in the man’s death. The three men were from the community and were known to each other.
The two suspects will appear in Winnipeg provincial court on Monday.
