A 56-year-old man was killed Wednesday morning after a collision in the area of Wilkes Avenue and Charleswood Road.
Winnipeg police say the man’s Ford Focus was travelling westbound on Wilkes Avenue at around 8 a.m. when it collided with a Nissan Rogue travelling southbound on Charleswood Road. The Rogue was making an eastbound turn when the accident occurred.
The driver of the Focus was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died.
No charges have been laid.
