Winnipeg police are looking for two suspects after a man was fatally stabbed in the area of Alexander Avenue and Dee Street Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called at around 2:20 p.m. where they found a 52-year-old having suffered stab wounds.
He was rushed to hospital in critical condition and later died. The victim has been identified as Gheorghe Uta of Winnipeg.
Police are looking for two people with the following descriptions:
- Male– aboriginal in appearance, in his 20s, 5’9”-6’0” in height, thin build, wearing a dark hoody with hood up, baseball cap worn underneath. He was riding a blue mountain bike.
- Female — aboriginal in appearance, in her 20s, 5’4”-5’5” in height, medium build, long dark hair, wearing a light coloured zip up hoody and black pants. She was riding a white mountain bike.
