Catherine Curtis (WPS / HANDOUT)
Search efforts are continuing for a missing Winnipeg woman last seen on Monday morning.
Catherine Curtis, 60, was attending an appointment at the Grace Hospital when she wandered off at around 9 a.m.
Police say the dive unit is now focusing on waterways in west Winnipeg as part of their efforts. They are also asking members of the public to search their own properties in the event Curtis has suffered a medical emergency.
Curtis is described as Caucasian, 5’4”, thin build, 85 pounds with long white hair worn in a ponytail, and blue eyes. She may be wearing a navy blue jacket, dark plaid pants, and white sneakers.
Searchers have been using the Sturgeon Heights Community Centre as their base to brief volunteers. Members of the Bear Clan Patrol have also been lending their assistance.
