Governor General David Johnston and wife Sharon Johnston are visiting Churchill, Manitoba today.
The pair will meet with mayor Michael Spence, visit the Town Centre Complex, participate in a community gathering, tour the Eskimo Museum, and visit the Parks Canada Interpretation Centre.
The Johnstons will also visit the Churchill Northern Studies Centre to discuss the research that is currently being conducted in the Hudson Bay area.
