Manitoba Man Killed in Crash on Highway 2

RCMP Crest LogoOne man was killed and a woman was sent to hospital Saturday after a head-on crash just south of Highway 2.

Manitoba RCMP say it happened at around 10 a.m. on Road 4W when two pickup trucks collided.

Police say one of the drivers crossed the centre line and into the path of the oncoming vehicle.

A 23-year-old man from the RM of Macdonald was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 62-year-old woman from Starbucks was air lifted to hospital and remains in stable condition.

Alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor in the collision.
