Winnipeg police confirmed a body was pulled from the Red River Wednesday.
Police said they were called to the river near the 400 block of Scotia Street at about 10:10 a.m. after someone spotted a body floating along the water.
Emergency personnel were able to locate the body and recover it to shore.
Police said the deceased is a male and they have not determined his identity.
An autopsy will be performed and there is no confirmed cause of death.
