Tickets have gone on sale for the annual Table for 1200 dinner at an undisclosed Winnipeg location.

Diners will feast on locally-prepared fare at the world’s longest dinner table on Saturday, May 28.

“Table for 1200 More highlights Winnipeg’s emerging design scene by bringing together architecture, design, and the culinary arts to create an evening of entertainment and stimulating conversation in a unique setting,” said curator and StorefrontMB director David Penner.

The pop-up outdoor dining experience will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and includes courses prepared by Mandel Hitzer from Deer + almond and Ben Kramer.

All those who attend are encouraged to wear white. A mini design competition with $1,200 in prizes is also up for grabs for table captains.

Individual tickets can be purchased by visiting tablefor1200more.ca.
