The Assiniboine Park Zoo is adding terrible lizards to its complement of fuzzy creatures starting Saturday.
The Dinosaurs Alive exhibit will open May 21 at 9 a.m., featuring 15 life-size animatronic dinosaurs from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
“We’re absolutely thrilled that Dinosaurs Alive!® will be open in time for the May long weekend”, said Gary Lunsford, Head, Zoological Operations at Assiniboine Park Zoo. “There’s been a lot of excitement and anticipation within the community since we announced this exhibit was coming, so it’s wonderful that we’re now only a few days away from being able to share this experience with our visitors.”
The exhibit will be included with regular Zoo admission.
