Winnipeg cyclists can now take advantage of the seasonal bike routes around the city.

The Sunday/holiday routes are now in effect until Monday, October 10 on:

· Lyndale Drive – Cromwell Street to Gauvin Street
· Scotia Street – Anderson Avenue (at St. Cross Street) to Armstrong Avenue
· Wellington Crescent – Academy Road (at Wellington Crescent) to Guelph Street
· Wolseley Avenue – Raglan Road to Maryland Street

The bike routes are in place Sundays and holidays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., meaning motor vehicle traffic is restricted to a distance of not more than one block.

Signs are posted on all approach roadways as notification that motorists are entering a Sunday/holiday bicycle route.

A violation of the Sunday/holiday bicycle route rules may result in a fine.
