Winnipeg Goldeyes LogoThe Winnipeg Goldeyes made a couple of moves on Wednesday before their game in Laredo.

The Fish have signed left-handed pitcher Eric Eadington, and traded right-handed pitcher Dylan Rheault to the Sioux City Explorers in exchange for a player to be named later.

Eadington made one start earlier this season for the Gary SouthShore RailCats, allowing one earned run in two innings on May 20th at St. Paul.

He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a non-drafted free agent in 2011 after a four-year career at Harvard University. The Orange, California native played five seasons in the Dodgers’ organization, compiling a 13-9 record and a 4.24 ERA in 128 appearances, 127 of them in relief. Eadington entered the 2016 season with 191 career strikeouts in just 155.0 innings pitched.

Rheault made one appearance for the Goldeyes, pitching one-third of a scoreless inning on May 22 at Joplin.
