Police Arrest Woman After Rifle Brought to House Party

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police have arrested and charged a woman after they say she brought a rifle to a house party.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Flora Avenue at around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday for a report of an assault where numerous intoxicated people were located.

The female partygoer was involved in a dispute and left the home, only to return later with a concealed rifle.

The 24-year-old woman was arrested without incident and faces numerous firearm-related offences. She remains in custody.
