A 44-year-old woman was killed Tuesday when her SUV was struck by a pickup truck in the RM of Brokenhead.
Manitoba RCMP say the crash happened at around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Road 40E and Road 79N.
The truck collided with the passenger side of the southbound SUV at the intersection.
The female driver in the pickup suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV, identified only as a local woman, was taken to hospital and pronounced deceased.
Alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor in the crash. Police are continuing to investigate.
