WINNIPEG — Fitness buffs in the Grant Park area will have a new place to get jacked early next year.

GoodLife Fitness and Fit4Less by GoodLife plan to open in the former Target location at Grant Park Shopping Centre.

The club is opening a new 35,000 square foot facility next to the soon-to-open Canadian Tire by early 2017.

The co-ed club will be the eighth GoodLife Fitness and first Fit4Less by GoodLife in Manitoba.

“This is going to be one of the most beautiful and unique fitness clubs in Manitoba,” says David ‘Patch’ Patchell-Evans, founder and CEO of GoodLife Fitness.

“Winnipeg is such a diverse city, so it makes sense to acknowledge that by offering a variety of fitness options too. We believe that by offering these clubs side-by-side we will give even more residents in the city the opportunity to live a fit and healthy life.”

The company boasts it as being a high-value, low-cost club that will offer Winnipeg residents access to leading fitness equipment at the lowest monthly membership rate in the country.
