Transcona Hi-Neighbour Festival (FACEBOOK)
Howdy, neighbour! Transcona will be a buzz of activity this weekend as the annual Hi-Neighbour Festival takes over.
The following closures are in effect now until midnight on Sunday, June 5:
- Regent Avenue West between Winona Street and Kanata Street, Bond Street between Regent Avenue West and Pandora Avenue, and Day Street between Pandora Avenue and Regent Avenue West.
The city says Regent Avenue West between Brewster Street and Wayoata Street will also be closed to all vehicle traffic between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 to accommodate the festival’s parade.
Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
