Canada Day will be the time for Manitoba’s talented musicians to shine.
The all-local live music lineup on July 1 at The Forks includes nearly every genre of tunes for the tens of thousands of people who will gather.
The main event at the festival stage kicks off with Mexican trad prog rockers The Mariachi Ghost at 6 p.m. followed by sets from reunited mod rock twosome Duotang, country pop act Kendra Kay, and indie pop/rockers Mise en Scene. To close out this year’s festivities, Don Amero will join the WSO to set the stage for a spectacular fireworks display.
