The town of Gimli is hoping enough online votes will snag a visit from Dean Brody, Chad Brownlee, and River Town Saints.

That’s the grand prize in the Coors Banquet One Horse Town contest, which will award a free outdoor concert to the winning community this fall.

Gimli was chosen as one of six finalists based on the number of photos members of the community uploaded to the contest website.

Coors Banquet will also make a short documentary about the winning community, its residents and the concert itself.

Online voting opened on Monday and will continue until July 4.

Other nominees include Kenora, ON, Truro, NS, Saint Jean-Port-Joli, QC, Vermilion, AB and Kimberley, BC.
