WINNIPEG — Mayor Brian Bowman is still enjoying a rather hefty approval rating, more than a year and a half since taking office.
A new poll released by Mainstreet Research/Postmedia found 63% of Winnipeggers strongly or somewhat approve of Bowman’s performance as the city’s leader.
That’s down from 77% in a September 2015 poll.
Twenty-seven percent disapproved of the job Bowman is doing, and 10% were undecided.
The poll was conducted June 9 among 801 Winnipeggers. It had a margin of error of +/-3.46%, 19 times out of 20.
