Police Seek Missing Kids Believed to Be with Their Mother

Two children are missing from Winnipeg and police believe they may have been abducted by their mother.

Montana Giesbrecht, 11, and Josh Giesbrecht, 9, were last seen in the St. James area near Lumsden Avenue on Monday night.

Police say the children may have received a ride from someone known to them in a small white four-door vehicle.

Montana is described as a Caucasian female, 4’5” in height, small build, and short dirty-blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow Minion T-shirt, a white blouse, and black Capri leggings.

Josh is a Caucasian male, 4’2”, long dirty-blonde hair, and small build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweater overtop of a grey T-shirt with a basketball picture on it and blue sweatpants.

The children may be with their mother, Sandra Giesbrecht, 44. Police are concerned for the well-being of the children and are asking anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact them at (204) 986-6250.
