The Winnipeg Jets will welcome the Carolina Hurricanes to MTS Centre on Thursday, October 13 to open up their 2016-17 NHL regular season.
The team will hit the road to play at Minnesota on Saturday, October 15 for their first road game.
The Jets will play four of the first five games of the season on home ice, including the Tim Hortons Heritage Classic against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, October 23 at 2 p.m. at Investors Group Field. The Jets will also again host a New Year’s Eve game against the New York Islanders at 6 p.m.
Winnipeg fans will get their best chance at seeing the Jets at home during a six-game homestand February 28 to March 11.
The longest road trip of the season will see the Jets play five games from November 17-25 away from MTS Centre.
