Man Succumbs to Injuries in North End House Fire

Winnipeg Police CrestA 50-year-old man has died following a fire in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue Wednesday morning.

The one-storey home became engulfed in flames at around 3:40 a.m. The man was rescued from the residence and rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Police say he succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy and cause of death are pending.
