Canada-Wide Warrant Issued for Mother Accused of Abducting Children

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Sandra Giesbrecht, who Winnipeg police believe disappeared with her two kids.

The 44-year-old is said to be in the company of Montana Giesbrecht, 11, and Josh Giesbrecht, 9. Both children were last seen on Monday evening near Lumsden Avenue in St. James.

Montana is described as a Caucasian female, 4’5” in height, small build, and short dirty-blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow Minion T-shirt, a white blouse, and black Capri leggings.

Josh is a Caucasian male, 4’2”, long dirty-blonde hair, and small build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweater overtop of a grey T-shirt with a basketball picture on it and blue sweatpants.

Police say the children were seen getting into a four-door white car.
