Two people have been arrested after an attack on a hotel worker earlier this month.
Winnipeg police said a man and a woman walked into a hotel in the 500 block of Main Street on June 19 at about 2:20 p.m. When the clerk behind the counter refused them service, they attacked her for several minutes, causing serious injuries, said police.
The pair fled.
On June 29, officers arrested both suspects.
Donald Loupelle, 44, has been charged with aggravated assault, as has Kayla Charmaine Fiddler, 24. Fiddler has also been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm “in relation to circumstances surrounding her arrest,” said police. “The victim in this instance was her co-accused: Loupelle.”
They were both taken into custody.
