Winnipeg police have recovered the vehicle belonging to missing man Hirenkumar (Herry) Patel from the Red River. Autopsy results are pending the identity of a body also found inside the vehicle. (WPS / HANDOUT)
Winnipeg police have recovered the vehicle of a missing 31-year-old man as well as a body inside of it.
Hirenkumar (Herry) Patel was last seen the evening of June 26 in the East Kildonan area.
Police began searching the Red River near the Fort Garry Bridge on Friday, where they recovered a red Hyundai Elantra associated to Patel.
The body located inside of the vehicle hasn’t been identified. A cause of death is unconfirmed.
Further details are pending the results of an autopsy.
