The Winnipeg Goldeyes have signed right-handed pitcher Robert Tasin to their roster.
The Houston, Texas native earned six saves over 28 relief appearances earlier this season for the Low-A South Atlantic League’s Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies).
The 24-year-old posted a 1.84 ERA with 24 strikeouts and only six walks in 29.1 innings of work.
Rookie infielder Carter McEachern was placed on waivers prior to Monday’s game. He was cleared and is now a free agent.
The Goldeyes return home on Tuesday, July 12 when they face the Sioux City Explorers at Shaw Park.
