WINNIPEG — The Forks Market is continuing to evolve its food hall with new tenants and signature local cuisine.

Next on the list of additions is something called the NEXT food kiosk — meant to “showcase a unique local chef or restaurant that will rotate on an ongoing basis.”

The kiosk has opened in the newly-renovated centre court with Dancing Noodle as its first temporary tenant. The hand-pulled Lanzhou-style noodles have become a destination along Pembina Highway since first being offered earlier this year.

“We’re excited to offer a rotation of great chefs and restaurants here. Not only will they bring freshness to the Market, but also continue to share Winnipeg’s innovative foodie scene,” said Clare MacKay with The Forks North Portage.

MacKay says NEXT will continue to build on the trend of The Forks being a destination for a variety of food.

Dancing Noodle will be at The Forks until August 5, temporarily closing their main south Winnipeg location.

Those interested in becoming a NEXT tenant can call (204) 987-4352.
