Police Identify Homicide Victim as Oxford House Man

Winnipeg Police CrestPolice have identified the victim of a homicide in downtown Winnipeg early Tuesday morning.

Cyril Quentin Weenusk, 26, of Oxford House, Manitoba succumbed to his injuries in hospital after being found injured in the area of Portage Avenue and Donald Street.

Winnipeg police say the victim had an altercation with a group of people in the area before it turned violent shortly before 4 a.m.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to contact police at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
